about

'Disaster Matinee' is the debut full-length from Seoul's 4-piece Baekma. Mixing post-rock and punk elements, grimy riffs and rich vocals, Baekma manages to slide between genres, ooze style, and generally do whatever they feel like on this wild album. 'Disaster Matinee's' polarity drives each track. Beautiful and rough, it pulls you along for the party and also for the eerie aftermath of the early morning. Baekma are here for fun, and 'Disaster Matinee' brings it to you raw—you get the dance party and the matted hair and regret all at once.
